With LT-Extender 2000 Plus for AutoCAD LT version 2000 (and higher) you are

After installing LT-Extender 2000 Plus, a new menu
"LT-Extender" is automatically shown, providing access to all new features,
commands, Online help, License dialog, and LT-Extender's homepage.
Additionally, there is a separate toolbar available for each submenu - these
toolbars are nearly identically to those toolbars known from 'big' AutoCAD.
With its easy installation and problem-free intgration into AutoCAD LT,
even unexperienced users will be able to use all the new features and
possibility provided by LT-Extender 2000 Plus.
Users will take profits of LT-Extender 2000 Plus in several way:
- all important, but missing AutoCAD commands, which are normaly missing with
AutoCAD LT, are provided by LT-Extender
- Arx-/Lisp applications may be loaded and run: therefore, users can run
"Third-Party"-applications (designed for AutoCAD) even with LT
- the feature to automatically load Arx-/Lisp applications allows
to have commonly used applications loaded with LT startup
- 'LayerTools' integrated : offers effective and elegant LayerControl using
reference entities
- Drawings created in AutoCAD can be opened and edited in LT now,
without "Proxies" being displayed (important for Plotting
those drawings !)

Some tips for the <appload> command:
With the LT Extender the appload command is available,
users can load and execute additional ARX/Lisp programms. Even under LT
these programs are executed similar to AutoCAD by using the
ARX/Lisp interface of AutoCAD LT. Normally about 80 % of all ARX/Lisp
applications will work properly. Following restrictions for the appload
command are known:
- ARX: ARX programs might use the incorrect registry keys (of
original AutoCAD),
or they detect the wrong AutoCAD
version or similar - then those programs might run incorrect or they will
fail at all
- FAS/VLX - VisualLISP programs cannot be used (but VL functions
can be used inside Lisp. using FAS/VLX is under development at the moment)
Some common notes:
Of course we cannot guarantee that all ARX/Lisp applications work
properly with LT - but a major part will do. If you recognize some
errors, please get in contact with us- maybe your report will help to
improve the ARX/Lisp integration with LT-Extender.
