Here you will find a list of AutoCAD applications, which
were successfully tested to work properly under AutoCAD LT, enhanced by LTE
Kernel resp. LT-Extender. This list is based on our testing results, on
users' feedback and on the cooperartion with application developers and
distributors, of course.
Some Notes - Installing Third-Party applications :
Many installation tools expect an AutoCAD version to be properly installed -
and will not accept AutoCAD LT; as result, those installers will stop
installing. To overcome this situation we provide a smart utility for Simulating
an AutoCAD installation ... documentation and guidelines are included.
If you encounter such situation, this utility will help in around 80% of all
cases ...
Some Notes
- Compatibility of menu files :
Compiled menus (*.mnr and *.mnc) are not compatible between AutoCAD and
AutoCAD LT !
Therefore, please delete these compiled menu files before using the menu
under AutoCAD LT for the first time - AutoCAD LT will then recompile the
menu at next startup; or it will be recompiled when the menu is manually
attached.
If you need to simultaneously use a particular application (and the
appropriate its menu) with both AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT, this trick will
solve the problem :
simply create a copy of those menu files using different name - including
menu lisp file (*.mnl) if present;
in example: "Program-ABC.mnu/mns/mnl"
=> "Program-ABC-LT.mnu/mns/mnl", and use "Program-ABC-LT.mnu/mns"
under AutoCAD LT.
Please study all installation notes and documentations of any Third-Party
applications to be installed !
Please note : Applications using our LTE Kernel system will
directly work under AutoCAD LT, even without LT-Extender installed -
nevetherless, LT-Extender can alway be co-installed without any problems ...
